The Canadian Ball Pics

These are the pics from the Canadian Ball. My bosses, Laura and Margaret and Margaret's husband are the 3 together. Mary from Waterloo is singing with the band. I'll be home in a few days. Tuesday night I had dinner in someone's home. Lucy who I met through my brother Paul invited me to her friend's home. We really had Chinese food - sticky rice wrapped in a bamboo leaf, egg and green beans, bacon (they said) but it was like german sausage, something chopped quite small that tasted like olives, lots of fruit (reminded me of Italy, mushrooms and several things I didn't try. It was pretty good but I couldn't eat like that all the time. Everything is very soft and bland looking. But it was a great way to spend a night.

Hurray, I'm in

I have not been able to access this account since May. I tried on a different computer today and it worked. Unfortunately I can't download any pictures from this computer and I'm on my lunch which is almost over so this will be short. June has been a very busy month at school with reports, portfolios, sports day, family picnic and I can't even remember what else. My kids have grown so much. They really are 4 years old. I find it hard to believe how easily I've slipped into the whole end of school syndrome since I never before have experienced this. I keep thinking it's just because I'm use to having holidays in July. Personally the highlight of the month was the Maple Leaf Ball on June 9th. It was great fun and those are the pics I want to post. I will be home in a few days and that is the real highlight. I hope to see you.
