same old same old
That's the way everything is feeling this year. I've been homesick and discontent with Yew Chung but hanging in there. I'm looking forward to a visit from Doug. He flies in to Beijing on Sep 19th and arrives in Shanghai a few days later. He and I are going on a cruise on the Yangtze River during the first week of Oct. I'll have lots of pictures to show you then. I have been having lots of fun with all my friends and making new friends from the new arrivals. This Sat. a group of us are going to see 42nd Street - looking forward to that. About 60 of us went out to dinner at a great Italian restaurant 2 weeks ago. There is a group of6 - 8 of us that are doing Sunday dinner together taking turns at each others homes - so that brightens of the week. On the 15th we are having a progressive dinner at 9th City which is the complex I live in. That's just getting organized but I expect it will be a large group and lots of fun.
See if I just don't think about work it's okay. We have 22 kids in our class this year as do all the kin. classes and everyone is very stressed with that ratio and it really bothers me that I am working for such a school. Parents have been complaining also. My class is very young this year compared to last year. Our children are still quite toddler like with only 1 in diapers all day but about 4 or 5 who take turns wetting themselves. We have lots of children crying each day but that seems to be coming to an end.
Okay enough of the bad stuff. We do have a lot of cuties and Diana continue to be on the same wave length so I'm sure the year will just zip by and before I know it I will be home for Christmas and then for good - after a trip to Namimbia with Doug and Mike. As always if anyone sees themselves visiting China in the next year you have a place to stay in Shanghai.
