Hooray, tomorrow is a typhoon day!

I'm pretty sure a typhoon day won't be as much fun as a snow day but it's still a day off work. We were supposed to have a parent information night on Thurs. but that has also been cancelled because of the typhoon and rescheduled for next week. Doug flies from Turkey to Beijing on Thurs. but I think that will be okay since the typhoon is supposed to hit on Wed. and Beijing is further north and further inland. There has been a lot of rain today and some wind but apparently we will get winds up to 200 miles per hr. It has been dark this afternoon but not black as it was one day last May. It's actually gotten lighter now. It is 4:00 p.m. now. We will see what tomorrow brings. I hope you don't hear any of this on the news because that would mean it is really bad.
Nothing is new here, life is pretty mundane. I will be glad for the holiday with Doug to liven things up a bit.
